Hi Lucy was in Benidorm from 23rd till 28th Feb at the Ambassador Hotel me and the wife had a fabulous time as usual we are regular visitors to Benidorm. We always watch your Chanel for updates and information 👍 when we were out in one of our daily strolls mid morning we passed Lips Bar club which used to be where the Famous Scotsman bar was the memories came flooding back it opened in 1970 I believe I first visited it on my first trip to Benidorm 1980 yes I’m that old lol and it was the place to go not sure when it closed i know it was nearly 20 years ago now I think. We were there in February full of Spanish as you would expect being Spain I asked the question I was told it’s because the Spanish government pays for retirement pensioners to be housed in hotels rather than paying them ?
