Janet:
The right standard to be based either how much money i need to have food of one day middle range and based on main crop farmed locally
The 1st value will be in Kg= Kilogram and decimal less or more
This same value will be considered as Unit of my currency
For instance 1000 gr
1 unit of my money is equal 1000 ( name of currency)
Then i will divide the 1000 as far as i want to get small coins to buy the less expensive good in the market

Or we can go for the most stable standard : cost of land

We can develop more in both cases
