Forgot how terrific this song really is. When I was a student at ORU, our dorm floor named ourselves "Higher Power" after this song. Haven't hear it in 40 years! GREAT SONG!

This singing Russ Taff lyrics by Denny Corell masterpiece is a foregone generator to song joyful in our Lord for when it was being played on Christian Contemporary Radio I heard it while studying Bible subject course curriculum when attending Oral Roberts University in 1981-82 and it freshly depicts the Plain revelation of God 's Presence with in us and Power Presence through us in power embued us by the Spirit. Zechariah. 4:8 Glory to Him! I even absolutely total enjoyed hearing like a real broken record it having heard Russ in concert sing it there at Christ's Chapel. Then in 1988 again in Chester, PA.
