Eσύ με πόσα φωτάκια
θα στολίσεις την θλίψη σου φέτος;

(με σπρέι σε τοίχο)


Στου κρεοπώλη τις σακούλες
κηδεύονται οι γαλοπούλες.
Και τα σφαγμένα, αθώα, δεντράκια
νεκροστολίζουν με φωτάκια.
Φέτος οι κόκκινες οι μπάλες
είναι της μόδας -- κι όχι άλλες!
Κι αίμα ζεστό στην Παλαιστίνη
ψάλλει το «επί γης ειρήνη».

Στα super market με κουπόνια
κερδίζεις δώρα -- καλά ψώνια!
Στης Coca-Cola το κουτάκι
ο Άϊ Βασίλης αρκουδάκι.
Κι ο παλιός χρόνος ο παππούλης
με lifting δείχνει νεαρούλης.

Καιροί γεμάτοι αδειοσύνη.
Χρόνια πολλά, χριστιανοσύνη!

In the butcher's polythene bags
the turkeys are buried.
And the slaughtered innocent little trees
they shroud with lights.
This year the red balls
are in fashion -- no others.
And the blood from Palestine
chants "Peace on Earth".

In the supermarkets with coupons
you win presents -- happy shopping!
On the Coca-Cola tin can
Santa Claus appears like a little bear.
And the old year the granddad
with lifting looks younger.

Times full of emptiness.
