Yeah I heard about the targeting Ogerpon thing, that happens, even if Ogerpon was switched in and that spot wasn’t originally targeted.
It makes sense considering the story, basically you broke his trust, had plot armor to get Ogerpon, and now you’re adding salt to his wound by reminding him.

Funnily enough, by the time you complete the Terapagos story, Kieran's finally calmed down, and will allow you to trade any Pokemon for one of his... The game does not allow you to pick Legendary Pokemon for this trade, which Ogerpon is.

It’s actually a great draw agro move, exploiting the source of the falling out between Florian/Julianna and Kieran, allowing you to target his weaknesses with your other Pokémon. For example, pairing Ogerpon with Houndstone or Kingambit towards the climax of the battle, especially if have a few Pokémon left.

When i sent out ogerpon, he sent a life orb, adaptability porygon-z download boosted HYPER BEAM my way. As if that wasn’t extreme enough, the porygon fainted from recoil too.
