Real wheelie tip. Adjust your rear axle at its closest position possible towards the bottom bracket. This is called "slammed". Also find the best seat position to sit yourself directly over your rear axle. That's your center when you're holding your front end up. Choose a layback seat post if possible. But the most usful tip of all.... practice.

Actually, for most beginners (at doing a wheelie), tire rotation hurts you. The wheel acts as a gyroscope, and pulls you left or right if you turn your wheel. It’s better to tap your front brake to stop, when your learning, so you can go straight. Good luck!
