How to convert units of an existing drawing in AutoCAD

I tried this but my Autocad doesn’t show the complete the -dwgunits command thread. After the fifth step (the INSUNITS step for which i enter Yes) there’s no further steps visible, it just shows “Command:” as in i have to type in a new command. If i click enter, it just goes back to the first step and its just a loop then (step 1 to 5 then back to step 1)
