I bought the base model M2 mini and it’s great. Everyone is saying to upgrade it, but if you’re just doing everyday thing with it it’s fine. And if it sucks in 2-3 years just get the newest entry level mac. Price is right where you can just keep upgrading every few years instead of dumping a ton of money now and having something obsolete in a few years.

You only need to upgrade if you’re doing crazy amounts of video or photo editing or massive high speed transfers. For the normal person, the base model is fine.

The 8gb m2 was such a worth it purchase, I edit all my professional video work on it and even with the bigger projects, not once have I noticed lag.

Atleast they should provide and m.2 slot for storage upgrade. They are charging $250 from 256gb to 512gb upgrade and it's not even fast, I can get 1tb gen4 SSD for $85 that is 4x faster.

I don’t usually support Apple cuz of not being value for money. But this here, m2 Mac Mini is one such device. There is no hardware in that price range that does what this can do. Dont come and comment that macs dont game. I know that, but productivity wise, no other device comes close to this.
