The song was written by Marv Green, Aimee Mayo, and Chris Lindsey. A pop remix of the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts in 2000. The song has sold over 1,650,000 digital copies in the US as of February 2016.

This was my mom and dads wedding song when they got married when i was young on June 5th 2004. My mom passed away from stage 4 colon cancer on February 28th 2016 and its been 8 years without her but i know she's up in heaven looking over me. My dad is still here and i'm proud.
