Oven Baked BBQ Chicken
3-4 boneless chicken breast
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon paprika
A splash of seasoning salt of your choice
1 cup of BBQ sauce of your choice
Make sure to rinse off your chicken. Then place them on a baking sheet lined with foil. I like to spray the pan with coconut oil or any oil of hour choice. Now, season the chicken with the granulated garlic, seasoning salt, paprika, and bbq sauce on both sides of the chicken. Place them in the oven on 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 21 minutes or until they have reached the internal temperature of 165 degrees. Once they are cooked, take them out and brush on some more bbq sauce on the tops with the left over bbq sauce from the 1 cup. Place back in the oven on high Broil for 5-10 minutes depending on how crispy you want the tops and edges of the chicken. When that broil is finished, take them out and add more bbq sauce to the tops of them if you want and enjoy!!

I can always appreciate a cook who seasons chicken with more than just “salt and pepper “. These look very good.

This came out amazing for me! I did do two things different:

1. I brined the chicken breast for 1 hour
2. I cooked the chicken in a cast iron pan on both sides so it was more grilled (I think because I brined it it started getting watery in the oven so the cast iron grilled it up perfectly).

So good!

Thank you! Made this tonight. Very juicy. Took out of broiler after five minutes and added more barbecue sauce and broiled another five minutes. This is spot on the amount of time to bake. My thermometer broke. My new go to.for baked chicken. Simple and delicious!

The chicken was as juicy and soft/tender as could possibly be. Thank you 🙏🏽 it came out perfect. I used the 10 calorie G Hughes sugar free bbq sauce and surprisingly, no complaints 😁

in my channel i cook in nature so I use coal and fire, it taste pretty good and good for camping too

To those concerned with time and temp. As they say on the TV show The Chew, NEVER cook meat by time, always by temperature. I usually pull chicken at about 158-160. The carry-over and broil take care of the safe temperature.

Why do you need to put seasoning on it when the BBQ sauce has it's own seasoning ?
