I remember having much trouble with this song... but the day when I really could play this without needing to stop midway of cramp or something, it felt like I killed the hardest boss in some 8-bit game and just screamed internally

I'm fifty years old, I heard and played literally hundreds and thousands of different music pieces but there is by far not one of them, which reaches this piece. It's music in perfection, no doubt. It touches the surface of human emotions.

The passacaglia was composed by Haendel and it only contains 4 chords.
Of course during the masterpice they are spread out a little but if you know chords and how they are built you only need to practice the melody and the chords will come automatically.
This is a good song for everyone that plays piano more than 2 or 3 years.

This brings back terrible memories of dealing with depression and feeling that my whole self worth was based on my piano skill I literally would force myself to stay up late, starve, and do whatever to become "good" at piano. I honestly think the song is amazing but makes me angry listening to it. I remember a time that I haven't eaten in 2 days and only slept 6 hours between them. Literally just to impress nobody. Even when I played well i never got any sort of happiness or a sense of accomplishment. Great song but brights back very painful memories.
