Some people moan about shapeshift going kyc but I almost never use shapeshift anyway. Haven't been a big fan, partly because he was anti-segwit. When I buy a crytpo I do it with the intention of holding it for years and the only coin I'm willing to hold long term is Bitcoin. When you buy and hold bitcoin you don't need shapeshift.

There ought to be a law - that all "public"/gov't revenues and expenditures MUST be on an open blockchain.
There ought to be a law - that all personal earnings, savings, outlays - any transactions - MAY be on any cryptographic ledger of an individual's choosing.
Wishful thinking, I know...
