Gala Dragot, born September 2, 2005 in Grimbergen, Belgium. She currently lives in Brussels, Belgium.
She is a Belgian singer of Albanian origin.
Singer, songwriter, actress and visual artist, having even designed all her clothes in the auditions for The Voice Kids.
Shown to the world for the first time in 2020 when he won the Flemish edition of The Voice Kids. His later released single "contagious" has received a lot of attention and airplay. At that time, her first name, Gala, was also her stage name, but in the meantime, she adopted the stage name of her father, Robert Aliaj Dragot, one of the most prominent figures in Albanian showbiz and a contemporary artist. “Dragot sounds good in all languages. In French we say that the word has gueule, it has its own flavor.” She recently released her song 't'inquiète' with which she also participated in the Belgian pre-selection for Eurosong 2023.

Both her parents have always encouraged Gala Dragot to be inspired by different forms of art. She takes classes at the art secondary school, plays the piano, paints and has a passion for film.

Gala gave performances on the Voice Kids van Vlaanderen that sounded like they were coming from someone way older than 15. It's good to see that she's continuing to perform and have her voice heard. Compilations that show us what the artist is doing now, years after the Voice, are very interesting to watch. Thank you!

I once spent a lazy, somewhat overcast day there --- and this young beauty's voice is a perfect match. Such a mature and capable voice at fifteen for the Voice blinds...and the choices by her coach (I didn't check who) were seemingly so appropriate for her voice and style. I hope she continues on in same vein and develops her rich resonance even further...(and after looking at the eurovision Belgian Wikipedia page with her name...what a complex process that I was unaware of!)
