As I age I absolutely love K beauty + tretinoin combo. I think it combines the best of both worlds 💕

I’m both. Half American half Korean products, best of both worlds

K-Beauty all the way! As someone who has a rare autoimmune disease that affects my face, k-beauty has truly rescued my skin!

honestly I'm a "if it works it works" type of guy, idc if it's western or eastern, if it works I'm keeping it.

I use both, to be honest. My baseline routine is K-beauty to keep my sensitive skin calm, but when I get breakouts, I swap in A-beauty with actives to get it under control.

I'm more of the French pharma kind of person, they are right in the middle in my opinion and experience 🤭

I find it difficult to find affordable k-beauty for sensitive skin (mostly without fragrance). Also Western culture is not just America.
I've started to try out a lot of different swedish skincare at the moment because that's where I live and I also have a guarantee that it's cruelty free.

I use tretenoin and I found that combining it with a K-beauty routine reduces the ugly flakiness a lot!!

Depends on the problem. Acne active problem, Western brands work me. Also sunscreen. Rest of the routine, I love Benton brand.

Well western medicine has been around for a long time too, yall know like Hiopocrates oath? The dude Hippocrates is from the classical greek period, which is 5~4th century BC. But modern western medicine, especially those that started in Britain or USA, which is like the only thing people count as real medicine nowadays, has been around for 450~500 ish years, so it lacks a lot of the old timey traditional botanical or pharma wisdom (minus some spring water stuff), which western medicine society seems either fascinated of or disgusted by (usually for the lack of scientific evidence, which I find to quite hilarious considering how skewed even modern scienfitic research can be in regards to pharma). Also, I say a lot of the traditional botanical wisdoms western society did have were also probably lost due to them witch hunting a lot of women healers so in a sense western medicine screwed itself.

I use both. A beauty is really good for treating things where’s K beauty calms and hydrates it; especially with how potent some A products can be, K beauty products are like a little break for your skin.

I think we can appreciate and use both Eastern and Western skincare (and medicine). The combination is likely to be as unique as we are as individuals, but social media is giving us the chance to learn about skincare products, their ingredients and how they might work for us, in ways we could only dream about before.

I only use Soap and Glory and different Asian brands including South Korean. I live in a cold climate and my only real problem is blackheads on the nose so I don’t need any treatments apart from niacinamide serum for my eczema breakouts. Maybe it’s the climate? British and Asian brands do it fine for me :) I used demi lovatos skincare brand back in the day though! Which was actually decent. Just 3 products I think

As I am I am into my 50s now but one thing my Mother did pass along to me very early in my life that I actually grabbed ahold of is always take care of your skin. So in my late 20s and early 30s I discovered K Beauty and discovered one eastern beauty brand that didn't irritate my skin, and I stopped going to my Dermatologist. So I love the combination of both!

K-beauty for hydrating toners and sunscreen. A-for exfoliating like the TO, cleansers and moisturizers.

You’re so right queen yes❤- also traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) which is what eastern medicine stems from, is really holistic and intuitive to the body’s natural processes in a way that western medicine is not

Finally found two moisturizers from K beauty that I like-hard to find vegan ones that are good for dry skin.
