Seems like a nice young guy and I'm sure a very good actor - but I think Ridley Scott is losing his touch as a director. This guy as the next lead in Gladiator?? Versus Russell Crowe, this guy is still in the Minor Leagues as an actor versus where Crowe was coming from. He doesn't have the good looks, the charisma, or the screen presence of what Crowe was bringing. Well, I wish him luck, and hope I'm wrong. But they should have left Gladiator alone. Some films are so good, they're not meant to be touched again, that was Gladiator, one of the best films of the last 25 years. One actor I believe could have played him would have been Chris Hemsworth, he has the good looks and the physicality for sure, but unfortunately is sort of recognized as Thor a bit much.
