"Keep your hands and arms inside ... " Emergency Exit Trainer guy must have done some time as a roller coaster ride operator. Took me right back to Cedar Point, that did.
Speaking of Cedar Point, I chose to not take advantage of a heckuvan opportunity at the Sandusky, Ohio, Ollie's back in 2011 (I remember the year very specifically because I was between jobs and pinching pennies). Ollie's had just (I learned later) bought from an insurance company the contents of a West Coast warehouse that had some smoke damage. The store was filled with all kinds of old kits: Weird-ohs, LifeLike 1:1 model antique gun kits, Entex kits those gawdawful 1960s MPC kits where even the box lid photo of the completed and painted model looked bad ... took me back to being a kid in Toledo in the early 70s and getting some of those same kits with Dad at the Ontario store (now also gone) and building some of those same kits ... I must have stood in that store for hours, just remembering. And then remembering that the contents of my wallet were already earmarked for basic needs. Ah well. About half my modest "stash" went to the Sandusky Goodwill later that summer.

And yet they get so mad at the passengers when they want to practice the over wing door in case they need it!🤣

That Nike is a Renwal kit and very detailed. Built it a few years back and I considered it worth the extra money.

All those controls, switches, knobs, lights, and levers. of which only two work. The On-Off-Volume Control and the Station Selector.😀 It was a nifty demonstration.

I have been hoping Atlantis would bring back the vintage Monogram B-25, like they finally did with the Monogram B-26 Invader. But then, I remembered they already have the old Revell B-25 kit. So they probably think that would be unnecessary duplication. 😮
Pretty nifty airliner simulator. Sure beats the old Link Trainers! 😅

Hey Mr. Max! Just a heads up, I built that Amodel P180 about 3-4 years ago. I love the Italian flying banana! Modified mine to be a Piaggio P1XX Hammerhead UAV. It's not a bad kit at for us sausage fingered fellas, the landing gear is INSANELY fiddley!!! Very small, very delicate. Just sayin' should the desire to grab it strike you.

Longitudinal control sweep is not a thing for airliners?

So Max, if a feller wanted to exit thru that hatch, [4:16] and he was encumbered with parachute, reserve, bag full of money, and a clip-on tie, how could he disable the inflatable slide, as that could destroy any aerodynamics the airplane still had at about 120 kts?

The space 1999 kit is a new kit from last year, well new in model years.

Max, my grandfather was in a US Army field artillery unit in WW1, does anyone make a kit if a full rig French 75mm gun, from horses to gun ? Thst is something I would love to build. I’ve seen the gun alone at times, but he worked with the horses, so I’d like the whole rig.
