Believe it or not but this wasn’t an April Fool’s Joke. It says a lot that I’m more likely to be asked to debate whether or not plants feel pain than the fact that animals do actually feel pain. Why do we care about tomatoes making noises through releasing gas but not animals screaming because they’re actually suffering?

I'm a Biologist and Science Educator and was immediately pissed when I started seeing the headlines. You could tell that no one was actually reading the study and only falling into the antiveganist's trap. Thank you Ed for being obviously well-read and representing intelligent and well-reasoned veganism.
