Magician Mickey was AMAZING! It was my grandkids' first Mickey Meet and Greet. My granddaughter was speechless, standing there and looking at him in awe. Two other favorite of mine are Haunted Mansion Gravedigger Mickey and Phantom Manor Phantom Mickey.

And oh my gosh I didn’t even know I needed to see those vintage Epcot outfits reappear for the 40th anniversary but now you have said it (and with such passion!) I love these costumes, the production quality is amazing!

I also think I know why Mickey gets so many great costumes:

Since his base design is so simple and human like it's easier for costume designers to make fancy outfits for him.

Imagine trying to make an elaborate costume for someone with a tail or a more padded costume.

I have so much nostalgia for the Dream Along with Mickey look. I was in Disney for my birthday that year, and my family bought me one of those fancy baskets that get delivered to the room, and the plushies inside were of Minnie and Mickey in their Dream Along with Mickey costumes. They were some of my favorites for the longest time and it really made me appreciate the costumes, even if I didn’t really understand much about how all of it worked.

(For context, I was turning three and I had seen so many Mickey costumes because it was not so scary Halloween season as well. It’s given me such a fascination with Mickey costumes ever since)

My favorite Mickey costume is when he dresses up like a pirate! I’m totally biased in this opinion as anything Pirate’s of the Caribbean related is my favorite, but he always just looks so freaking cute as a swashbuckler!

I love that you mentioned the pockets on Mickeys Camp Minnie Mickey look. I used to work at DAK and was often in Camp MM when a child asked me that exact thing you did, "what's in Mickey's pockets?". I told him he keeps a picture of Minnie in there and then I prayed that when the kid got up to the front he didn't ask Mickey to see it. 😆 Congrats on 200, 000! Happy to be one of them!

I used to work ops at Adventurer's Outpost in Animal Kingdom, so I'm totally biased in loving Safari Mickey and Christmas Sweater Mickey. This Mouse just knows how to look GOOD.

ALSO, I don't know if you saw, but at Disneyland's Christmas Parties, Goofy as Jacob Marley appears with Scrooge, and it may have just bumped Santa Goofy down a spot in my favorite Goofy Christmas looks...
