I got access to this 2 weeks ago, and I was surprised how fast it responds. I asked it to generate some units tests for a module and it took no time to generate an entire set of like 12 unit tests.

One Must-Do is to always preface your first prompt with @workspace. It then includes the context of your entire project in the answers.

I've been using Copilot Chat for a few weeks now. It's quite amazing. It obviously makes mistakes, but overall it's really good! It saves me a ton of time on my projects. Hopefully you don't have to pay extra for it if you already have a Copilot subscription.

I am already enabled for this chat feature "The GitHub Copilot chat private beta is already enabled on your account!
" And I installed the nightly copilot extension. It works like normal copilot but I don't see any "chat" window... :(

I see AI writing codes a lot like calculators performing math

If you use either of them very early on you can do cool stuff but you probably won't understand a lot of it. Using it to write code you already would've been able to write is the way I feel it should be used

Wow this tools will make us super productive. I don't fear Ai I want to embrace it. But we can not leverage this tools if we didn't master the fundamentals.
