hi, I was just wondering why you squared the d (of dy) and the x of the dy/dx bit in question 7 b. Is that a technique for finding the nature of stationary points? If it is I haven't seen it before and it looks much quicker than what my teacher taught us to do, so I would like to know how to use it properly. thanks :)

1:40 the square root of 9 is +- 3 right, so how did you know to only consider the positive value and disregard the negative?
