For those worried about the dogs aggression. Shibas are instinctively very territorial and pretty mean dogs so the aggressive growling is just kind of their default way of showing minor discomfort. It's not intentional aggression though just a shiba being a shiba.

It's actually good that he does this. Instead of snapping, he gives progressively stronger signals that what you're doing is hurting/disturbing him so that you can disengage. They're 'people' in a sense but they have no way to communicate beyond noises and body language. If somebody was invading your personal space, you'd politely ask them to leave you alone, then escalate if they don't stop.
