Jani Yli-Kahila’s Broken Teeth & Buggley Eyes presents ‘Lost’.

I was dissatisfied with the way the previous arrangement of ’Lost’ turned out. I thought, "What the hell, why don’t I just stop whining about it and re-arrange it instead!” First off, I slowed down the tempo a bit and realized immediately that the previous vocal melody didn't really work at a slower tempo. I wrote a new melody, and while I was at it, I threw in a couple lines worth of new lyrics as well. Shortly afterwards I came up with a new melody for the chorus of the song as well. It was not as if the song would have needed a new chorus melody, but the one I accidentally came up with sounded good enough for me to want to include it on the current arrangement. Chord progressions are the same as they were on the previous version, but I'm using a different pick-hand rhythm to play them. The pre-chorus melody is the only vocal part that I've included from the previous arrangement without altering it in any way at all. There's a little quote from the movie Pulp Fiction on the outro of the song. It's something Samuel L. Jackson's character Jules recites right before he takes his handgun to blast someone's brains out. If I'm not completely mistaken the quote is actually lifted off from the Bible!!
