These are all great ideas - thank you! The only thing that makes me wonder about the packaged supermarket goods is whether they have harmful ingredients like palm oil in them. Are such ingredients commonly found in edibles available in Japanese stores? I always try to avoid them in my home country, but since I do not know any Japanese, I'm a bit worried that I might pick up something that is heavily processed without knowing😥

I found success when I posted items back to Australia by Japanese post, a large box with decent weight could cost around 14, 000 yen by air mail. So, my weight limit is not limited by the airport.
