The word “Mortar” comes from the Latin word “Mortarium, ” which can be loosely translated as “place for pounding.” The word “Pestle” comes from the classical Latin word “Pistillum” meaning “pounder”.

The bomb is similar named because it is aimed at one place, and then pounds it.

Mortar is the bowl and comes from the Latin moartarium meaning literally “Bowl for pounding and mixing.” Pestle is the rod like part and comes from the Latin pistillum meaning “pounder”

little tip: the closer you get the potion icon to the silhouette, the stronger the potion. also with having the potion recipe saved you can just skip the mixing/grinding part of it; especially useful when it’s a strong potion and it’s difficult to get it lined up perfectly
