Born in Galicia, Spain and based in Brooklyn, New York, Marem Ladson's sumptuous hooks and sweetly lilting vocals have the uncanny ability to form a language unto themselves. While growing up in Spain, Marem Ladson loved American pop and folk music. Her love created the blueprint for her own sound which frequently synthesizes influences from both countries. During her Audiotree Live Session, Ladson's intimate acoustic compositions pulse with a quiet emotional ferocity.
