Thank you so much. My wife is Polish and I try but she has no patience with me. “cz” is tough for me. This is really helpful. Dziękuję . You are an excellent teacher.

Jestem Polką i oczywiście język polski to mój rodzinny język . Filmik pokazał mi się przez przypadek i obejrzałam . Współczuje i podziwiam każdego kto uczy i chce się nauczyć mojego języka . Nie przypuszczałam ze może to być dla kogoś aż tak trudne póki nie obejrzałam tych różnic . Super to przedstawiłaś jak powinien układać się język podczas wymowy. Gdybym uczyła się polskiego to tylko u Ciebie 😅😊

Thanks for this. I clicked on this video cuz I'm trying to learn how to properly pronounce the names of my dead Polish relatives. Many of them changed their names after some time living in the USA and having difficulty with people not being able to say or spell them.

I would like to, chciałby is very difficult to pronounce as an English speaker. Could you break this down as well? Of words containing similar sounds?

Thank you so much for your knowledge and sharing

As a Polish person living in Australia, I've run into the problem of describing how to pronounce the 'cz' combination. because that phonogram simply does not exist in English. I try to describe it as a 'deeper' 'ch' sound where you roll the tongue back, or stick the tongue to the roof of the mouth. But I haven't yet been able to succesfully make someone understand the subtle difference. The closest I can muster is telling people it's like a 'tch' sound like in 'twitch', or 'scratch'. But even then, they don't quite differentiation properly.

super lekcja fonetyki. Natomiast wiem, że to kolejna lekcja, która nie potrafię słyszeć różnicy. Byłoby fajnie gdyby Polacy przyznali, że nie ma różnicy!!😉

żartuję 😄😄😄

jeszcze raz świetna leckja.

I just can’t hear the difference between cz and ć. C sounds distinct but it’s like really close vowels in Korean. I guess I can hear the sound difference in a few of those but can’t reproduce them. When I hear the examples of ć and cz they sound the same just emphasis I guess? That’s not enough for me to think there should be a seperate diacritic but alas not how language works. Just hope I will distinguish at some point.

Same sounds as in Serbian. There are better videos by Serbian speech therapists tho on how to pronounce those sounds. For example with using a spoon and then rounding the mouth, etc. All the techniques for correct pronoucing.
