Had ECW stayed under Paul Heyman's control, ECW would've been a more hardcore NXT. Jon Moxley would have arrived in 2011.

Big Show, Kelly Kelly, Hardcore Holly, Cm Punk, Mike Knox, Test, Kurt Angle, Kevin Thorn and Ariel were great additions to WWECW as the New breed.

This was a good moment for WWECW. Still had the hardcore aesthetic of ECW, but merged with the Ruthless Aggression era presentation. Still had some of the classic guys, while developing new talent like CM Punk, Bobby Lashley, and Elijah Burke. Shit, even though Kevin Thorn was stupid as hell he was still memorable. For just a moment, it had a real identity and feel unto itself. It was worth watching. It's a shame how quickly it fell apart into becoming WWE's dumping ground for shit it had no faith in.

Im happy i was coherent enough to enjoy this era. I wasnt born yet for ECW’s prime in the 90s so it was a blessing to see guys like Sabu, RVD, Dreamer and others as a kid

I am so happy that I was able to see at least one ECW show live. It was at a Smackdown taping in 07, I remember Bobby Lashley was champ, I remember Kevin Thorne and the new breed guys. I can’t find the episode of the ecw show on the network tho. It was Seattle

I like ecw in 2006-early 2007. You had the hot women, Extreme rules, taz and joey styles, cm punk was rising, the entrance way was cool and of course drowning pool. Then WWE started playing around with it. Eventually it became a television version of fcw.
