Very nice. We’ll be in Kurashiki next month for a bonsai show near by. Now we’ll also have to hunt down the bakery. Note: the peaches are actually persimmons.

Wow, my hometown! Those are not peaches but dried persimmons hanging by the window. 😄 It’s very popular in the fall. My mother makes them every year.

I was very impressed with the skill of the photography. The scenery captured by the camera has a calm structure, and there is a sense of security when looking at it. It somehow captures the calmness of Kurashiki and the calmness of Japanese architecture. It's a video that makes Japanese people want to visit Kurashiki again.

I have lived in Kurashiki for 16 years. And the bakery name is “Mugi“.
Mugi means flour. I really recommend the bakery for everyone because it is one of best bakeries in Kurashiki!

The blue ice cream is popular with school kids just out from nearby school. Also other blue snacks at the blue ice cream shop. They are rich kids to be able to buy, and not just ice cream. They also buy from the other shops. The denim jeans are nice but expensive designer types.

I was worried because you cried the video of trip to Hiroshima.
But I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Japan, including here in Kurashiki.
I live in Fukuoka City in Kyushu. Next time you visit Japan, please come visit Kyushu, which is full of charm!😄

Japan is very proud to be one of the last place you can find natural indigo dyed denim and silks, hence the name “samurai blue” for their national soccer team

"Denim soft-serve ice cream", tastes like the Levi's Bill wore as a teenager. Just kidding, it tastes like “RUMUNE soda” and blueberries. It was unexpected that you moved further west from Osaka and Kyoto. As it turns out, it looks like you made the right decision. If you are still in Japan, winter brings rain and a lot of snow on the Sea of Japan side and dry sunny weather on the Pacific side. Keep up the great trip and don't catch any viruses. Where did you guys go this time? Can you say without seeing anything?

Most Japanese go to Kyoto and Nara for school trips, and to Osaka for business. Therefore, Japanese people do not go to such places for sightseeing. If Japanese go, Kobe, Himeji, Kurashiki, island tour in the Seto Inland Sea, and various parts of Shikoku. As you can see from the video, most of the tourists in Kurashiki are Japanese, and many of them are young women. There are very few foreigners. That will be the best proof.

Kurashiki is a tourist destination that Japanese people love more than Kyoto. The city is especially popular with young women. Foreigners go to Hiroshima immediately after sightseeing in Kyoto and Osaka. Japanese people really like the place between Osaka and Hiroshima. In between are Kobe, Himeji, Okayama, Kurashiki and other places that Japanese people love. If you get tired of Kyoto or Tokyo, please do sightseeing.

Those are persimmons, not peaches haha. Autumn is persimmon season, you should absolutely try some fresh ones!! They are delicious at the height of ripeness!
