DENAFRIPS PONTUS II - R2R DAC (FIRST IMPRESSIONS).

My first impressions of the Pontus II, R2R DAC from Denafrips.

how is the audio latency for movies? can you go under the 5ms or fixed latency at least? thru usb and other digital inputs

Love the Pontus II, great summary - thank you. The Topping D70s is just invincible, I put it up against all my other DACs, the only one that comes close in terms of a natural sound is the SMSL D300, but that falls way short in many other areas. The D70s is simply a superlative product. Looking forward to your final review on the Pontus!

Hello William, excellent review! As per Denafrips Pontus manual: ''It is not recommended to use both RCA and XLR output simultaneously''. Have you noticed any degradation of sound quality when using both amps?
I am asking that because you mentioned that you used both amps from both outputs(RCA and XLR).
