Great product. I have an older saw that the previous owner kissed the fence on… not good for the fence and certainly not good for the blade.

As far as anti kickback, maybe in some cases, but if it twists a bit or catches a tooth it can still shoot straight back like an arrow.

5 chances to win gotta love improved odds especially for table saw accessories. I feel the heat issue, it's over 100 everyday this week. I've never clamped anything after the table saw blade by itself I always figured it would create a larger problem if anything happened.

Geez, I think I missed entering that last drawing! Maybe I wasn’t in my body!! 🤪
Okay…I like the fence clamp system. The kick back technique…well, it’s a lot of torque…but with the amount of clearance…I’m not sure it would generate enough force to break them free because there’d have to be as much flex as there is torque so I would think worst case, it would tweak the clamp and so much so, that it wouldn’t allow it to break free. But hey, I’m gonna let some other poor soul test that theory!!😁

Great video. I’ve been really looking a various clamps lately. I’ve got a bunch of 12in or under but have been looking for a few specialized and extended length for gluing up tray bottoms. I did enter for last week but I almost didn’t because I already have a auto jumper battery pack. The compressor part was interesting but I figured I’d hold off and let’s somebody that really wanted it to have a better chance… I caved in the end though. Does the blade assembly guard thing (or whatever the real name is that comes with the saw) that most folks seem to remove right away not help with kickback? Thanks again for a very informative video.

I have a set and they are pretty good, but then you can never have too many of them.
I am with some of the others I would never use it as an anti-kickback device like you have shown. I have seen a set up that has rollers that keep the wood down and against the fence as well as keep it from going backwards. I think those are problematic as well because you can't push the wood all they way through so then, you have to follow it up with a sacrificial piece, maybe a special push stick that has a long reach to it. not my cup of tea either. To me it is far more important to have and keep my saw well tuned up. I have run thousands of board feet through a table saw and the only time I have ever had a problem is when I am doing something stupid. I have learned to cut things twice. I cut my wood down to rough dimensions, that way I don't have to do long rip cuts, if I am going to have kickback it will be on the rough cut. if the wood is under internal tension then I will find that out quickly and I am less likely to ruin the wood. It is much more manageable this way and I am much less likely to force a cut that could be dangerous. just my two cents. the other thing is to be control my environment so that I am never interrupted as I work. 60 years later I still have a scar from when i was a kid and I was startled by someone who came up from behind me, I came way too close to losing a finger.

Those fence clamps look pretty good. But I sure would not be comfortable using them in that "anti-kickback" configuration. That just seems wrong somehow to me.
I think that clamps are always useful and these seem good. So I can think of many ways to use them. Just, for me, not for anti-kickback.
