Thank you Swamiji for this wonderful lesson.
As most of occidental people from my generation, I gave up religion in my youth.
I began my spiritual path looking for meditation only and one of the most amazing discoveries I made when I began to follow your teachings was that I realized that if I would have grown in another country or in other time, I could have been a religious person.
Now I am beginning to appreciate the help of bhakti in the daily life and I am trying to learn -appreciating its meanings – some of the prayers you chant. It could be very helpful for people like me to have some orientation in this path.
Namaste.

Salutations, Guruji. Thanks once more for the deep insights into Bhaghavan’s teachings with good use of metaphors, while pointing out often the limitations of their use.
Om Nama Shivaya 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thanks for another great lesson, Swami-ji! Also, I believe that the Big Bounce Hypothesis has been put back in the table by some scientists. Your teachings have inspired me to go look more into astrophysics and what not lately, and I have seen that hypothesis come up a number of times in recent interviews and documentaries. :)

Thank you swamy for another well explained class. One cannot miss your class because there will always be a point to learn or to get clarity. So, to reach the akshra brahma you need to use all paths available like bhakti, karma, gnaana and yoga.

Hi Guruji, thanks once again for this video!
I had two questions regarding Verses 20 and 21:
1. Verse 20: You mentioned that there is a relationship between Ishwara (Brahmaji), Brahman and Maya when you were talking about the story of how the universe came to be (Brahma comes out of the lotus from Vishnu's navel). Is it accurate to say that Ishwara = Brahman + Maya? So, where Brahman and Maya meet, that is Ishwara? I wanted some clarification here.
2. Verse 21: I had a question regarding the second part of this verse. I feel like in English the term "rebirth" is very confusing and I often misinterpret it. The Sanskrit term here is "nivartante" which means "return" rather than "rebirth". So, does "rebirth" have a deeper meaning in the context of "returning to experiencing the world as some individual entity again"? I hope to get some clarification here as well.
Thank you!

Comment on 8:18: Can "prayalante" mean dissolution without the "big crunch" ...a whimper

I was eager to know your explanations of the slokas of the first slide because it resembles the time - dilation events of special relativity. But was disappointed.

One of the problems of using infinity as a metaphor for karma in an endless cycle is that it creates a discontinuity around moksha. If in even 1 cycle, 1 entity reaches moksha, then at this point an infinite number of entities have reached moksha, so for every entity that reaches moksha, another entity to replace this must be created, or there must be already an infinite number of entities. Since you cannot create an entity without karma, it is impossible to attain moksha. This is the failing of this metaphor
