RAFAEL AGUIRRE - En los Trigales - Joaquín Rodrigo

Aquí está el tercer videoclip musical de la serie “La guitarra de Rafael Aguirre”, que acompaña al episodio 3 del mismo, grabado en el Auditorio Manuel de Falla de Granada, junto a Pablo San Nicasio y Laerato Studios. En esta serie se habla de cómo es la vida de un concertista de guitarra, cuáles son los desafíos a los que se enfrenta el mundo de la guitarra, qué es la guitarra clásica y flamenca que juntas representan la guitarra española y muchos otros temas con invitados de lujo. Es sólo el principio de un camino que esperemos recorra el mundo entero. Se trata del proyecto audiovisual más grande que he hecho, en el que habrá varios capítulos, además de vídeos musicales y muchas más sorpresas.

En esta pieza, Rodrigo usa el ritmo de Polo y por eso recuerda mucho a la música de Falla. Al haber sido Falla un gran valedor de la música de Rodrigo cuando este comenzaba, me pareció apropiado grabar este obra en el Auditorio de su admirado colega. Además, la obra está dedicada a Narciso Yepes, que fue el primero guitarrista que escuché tocando el "Concierto de Aranjuez" del Maestro Rodrigo.

Here is the third music video of the series "La guitarra de Rafael Aguirre", which goes together with the episode 3 of the series, recorded at the Club Monteverdi in Madrid, together with Pablo San Nicasio and Laerato Studios. In this series we talk about the life of a concert guitarist, what are the challenges that the guitar world faces, what is the classical and flamenco guitar that together represent the Spanish guitar and many other topics with prestigious guests. It is only the beginning of a path that we go through the whole world. It is the biggest audiovisual project I have done, in which there will be several chapters, as well as music videos and many more surprises.

In this piece, Rodrigo uses the rhythm of Polo and for this reason it is very reminiscent of Falla's music. Since Falla had been a great supporter of Rodrigo's music when he was a student in Paris, it seemed appropriate to record this work in the Auditorium of his admired colleague. Furthermore, the work is dedicated to Narciso Yepes, who was the first guitarist I heard playing the "Concierto de Aranjuez" by Maestro Rodrigo.
