How to Be Prepared for the British Summer!

...my bag is a Mulberry Bayswater, my cat top is from H&M, my skirt was from Topshop years ago, the wellies are Hunter, the parka is Marc Jacobs, the vest top and grey tee are from Splendid and the umbrella is one that I found in the garage. That's why it has a broken spoke!

I LOOVE how the cat-shirt looks layered under the bright sheer vest top! I'm going to have to pull out all my print-tees now and see what they look like layered under a very comparable vest, haha. And the plastic bag tip is brilliant, and oh-so-fashionable on your head too!

I agree that you'll always need a brolly in your bag, I have a copious amount of them because gale force winds seem to sabotage every umbrella I own! I also agree with layering, in the summer I'll wear dresses more often but if I think the weather is going to turn foul, I'll wrap up a cardigan in my bag to keep myself warm :) Great tips Ruth x

I was in London last January around that time when they had crazy storms up in Scotland and a huge, extremely windy rainstorm showed up right as I was strolling near the river with my new pair of Noe pumps in their carboard box in a paper bag. After the storm, I was left with 2 shoes in a damp wet thingy with no more shopping bag to be found!

I moved to London two years ago and the weather is seriously crazy! This "summer" has been extra special.. And I'm home at the moment so I'm missing the sunshine over there:P
