Brian Connolly was the only person who could sing this. His voice was golden, pure, and possessed of so much feeling and emotion, no other can emulate him.

Mick Tucker's playing is amazing here. He sounds spectacular. Honestly, I cannot figure out why he isn't better known as one of the best drummers of his age. He deserves the accolades.

Look, we all miss Brian's voice, but take, for a moment, this version of Sweet on its own merits. This band is an absolute machine. I don't know that either Andy or Mick have _ever_ played better. Paul Mario Day (vox), Mal McNulty (bass) and Phil Lanzon (keys) are absolutely phenomenal musicians, and their chemistry in this format is undeniable. After the classic Sweet's nearly unlistenable final years and Andy's misguided voyage into solo Glen Frey territory (Krugerrands), I, for one, am happy that this return to form for one of rock's true pioneering guitarists and and staggeringly good drummers happened at all. So, quit yer bitching and just enjoy :)
