Somalia's drought has left more than two million people facing severe food and water shortages. With about 2.3 million people already suffering from serious water, food, and pasture shortages in Somalia, a rapidly worsening drought could lead to an “extreme situation” by April next year. UN Food Agency, FAO Representative in Somalia, Etienne peterschmitt spoke to CGTN.

I am witness that Somalia people mostly will face food shortage for the sake of three years of droughts and above specially Bay region so that we can confused who will take this responsibility of these people although most learners ignoring it.

Remember last time Somalia had a massive food shortage ppl where starving war lords stole in food donations for its armies the Americans went in to stop them so babies didn’t die and the world for angry at Americans I say let them starve

We are the people of Africa's richest country with the longest sea in Africa, farms, rivers, and natural resources and yet unfortunately we do not have patriotic leaders who have the leadership and vision. We are sorry that we have so many resources to be the poorest
