Just lost my brother who fought addiction most of his life. He sobered up for 6 years, completely turned his life around, got a house - took kids on vacation. Got to spend many fun weekends with him, and a lot of laughs. A connection with the wrong kind of woman from his past, and next thing I know, he is gone. My hero is gone from this place. So now, I get to step up and try and be some of the man he is/was. This was one of his favorite songs he shared with me a few weeks ago. This song mine as well have been written for him.
