Hey Jeremy. Thanks for this comparison video. I’m curious, is the 4k mix brio the clearest best webcam now for 2024 (I don’t need tracking) for a space that doesn’t have optimal lighting?

I've just recently got the new Brio through work with $60 off (lucky me). I must say it's the best camera with audio I've ever used. Would recommend. Obviously the audio wont be as good as a dedicated microphone, but for a camera it's fantastic.

I own the 2017 Brio 4k, It seems better out of the box without tuning and supports Windows Hello and HDR (I've turned HDR on and it makes the background look good but when it's pointed at me there isn't any point). The 4k Mx Brio seems better after auto tuning but if you have or use it on multiple devices it doesn't seem optimal and since I use Windows Hello for face login on the 2017 Brio 4k so that makes MX Brio a non-starter. My 2cents both seem fine just I prefer 2017 Brio as I can use Windows Hello at home and when I take it on the go it looks ok just plugging it in and not having to install suite of software to make it look or sound ok

also in the market for a new cam. currently using the C270, image is pretty dark, i don't use a light ring or anything. i have fluorescent lights above (garage print shop/game room). i'm facing the wall, monitor is against the wall, lights are literally just above, but my cam is never clear enough. mx brio or 2017 4k?

The Logitech 4K is absolutely fucking trash, the yellow tint was a defect and no matter of tuning can eliminate it. Sure you can use LogiTune but the SETTINGS are never SAVED and Teams and Zoom just default it out. Absolute trash showing up on camera looking like I have jaundice.

Both laughably abysmal. It's 2024, and there isnt a single webcam on the market that comes even CLOSE to what my phone cam or ipad cam looks like (image quality wise). What the hell is going on with these webcam brands? Such a blatant cash grab, producing way overpriced junk.
