Petzl I’d slip

Testing an old first iteration @petzl_official i’D. It started slipping at around 4,5kN. Max force registered 6,5kN when pulling delivering a forceful pull on the setup. After 6,5kN it drops down immediately to 4,5kN for an steady slip. If that makes sense..
This was the same 11mm from other tests. Different ropes and newer i’D’s will give you different results..

My ID and rig would slip after a month or so of use, especially in heat. As would all the teams. We use sirius descenders now, would highly recommend

and ialso only use 11 mm ropes and locked, , , it worns out, , yes

Wrong diameter rope, or not fully locked off?
I've never seen an ID slip.
