Finn 'Sometimes The Going Gets A Little Tough'

A producer, DJ, NTS radio host and label head, Finn has been coming of age while representing Manchester’s underground dance music scene over the last four years. He's still in his early twenties and is now turning heads way further afield from the North West.

His timely debut for Defected ‘Sometimes The Going Gets A Little Tough’ will stop you in your tracks. It’s a straight pumper in theory, so expect to hear it in plenty of festival sets over the summer; with its vocal loop and heartfelt lyrics it becomes so much more. In his own words, “It's a record for trying times; for everyone trying their very best out there.”

Originally released via London label Local Action, the track received radio support from the likes of Annie Mac, Skream and Monki and support from DJs as diverse as TQD, Diplo and Martin Garrix, not to mean over 2m Spotify streams. On signing his record over to Defected, Finn says “I'm beaming. Really excited to have a record on a label with such a rich catalogue.” The appeal of ‘Sometimes The Going Gets A Little Tough’ is universal and the execution is perfect, making this the kind of life affirming record that 2018 needs.
