This is heartening and also sad for me. I was the shy, bullied kid who was never asked on a date or to dance in school… but I really hope that the happy ending you portray is what most people get, rather than mine.

(Side note, though it took years, I am happily married now, and have been asked to dance by my now husband ❤)
