He's not too young, Bobby, he's just feeling particularly spry that day. There's a word that does not get enough use in a typical day...spry. I like it. I am not Hot Toys collector, and doubt I ever will be, but holy shit what a beautiful figure. I just look at their Star Wars line and sigh with the realization that it just is not in the cards.

That Jedha diorama is shaping up wonderfully! The level of detail you have gotten into the steps and walls there in the corner to make it look like layers of paint flaking away and bits of stone chipping is fantastic. Makes me wonder there there will be future Patreon videos to see some WIP's. Great look at this guy, thanks Bobby!

Great review, dude! The figure looks good to me, Im just not a huge SW fan LOL! You should get your hands on a HT (TTM 18) base body, Bobby. The articulation doesn't change too much between the various body types, but it would help you with explaining the joints system. The shoulder/butterfly joints are usually on sviwel mechanisms. Also, these types of head sculpts sits on a single ballpeg going from the body and into the neck. Its very common for these types of solutions to have a restricted articulation, and thats why I favor the head sculpts without a neck, so that you'll get that extra ball joint between the head and the neck. The ankles however, they are usually a double ballpeg. What does seem to be different between various 1/6 scale bodies are the elbows. Depending on if the joint is supposed to be exposed or not, they can range between double hinge or single disc hinge.

If you want a more realistic and seamless 1/6 body, you should look into the TB League (Phicen) base bodies with stainless steel skeletons and silicon skin! They are freakin' amazing and highly posable! They are some what expensive though, as they usually cost somewhere between 70-90 bucks.

the face sculpt is so good it could be reused for a classic horror movie line of figures.

The "pens" are actually called Data Cylenders. They allow access to certain areas in the Empire. The higher the rank, the more restricted areas you have access to. The Data Cylenders also carry information that is extremely inmortant and is only trusted to certain officers.

That aside, the figure is great, the ranking badge is nicely painted along with everything else. I see what you mean where they could have added more read to his eyelids but still, everything looks great. I'm not going to get this though because I'm a 6 inch collector. I can't wait for the Black Series Tarkin though. Especially since he comes with an interrogation droid.

He should have came with interrogation droid instead of the 50's retro-style chair. He was an old man back in 77', that chair had to be killing his great review sir on a really well done figure,

No one's going to say it...alright I'll say it...this is a better stand in than the CGI Tarkin we got for Rogue One ;)
