I don't know how people can go through life without asking these questions. My natural curiousity led me to science which provided answers to questions I'd never even thought to ask. The study of quantum mechanics, over all the other sciences capture the deepest interest in me, because it's the only thing the doesn't make sense. What I know amazes me, but it's how much I don't know that's really incredible. Keep asking questions, keep searching for answers, and keep learning!

You are most welcome. I’m passionate because discoveries like these drive progress against the most difficult questions that life offers, like “who are we” and “do we have a purpose”. One of my favorite physicists is Sean Carroll. He has several videos on youtube and speaks clearly. And he definitely ties physics into these existential questions.

Thanks for writing me a note. This exciting knowledge does inspire me. I bet you too are the type of person who feels a sense of awe an power about science and reason. Am I right?

I don't like my fumbling and stammering either. I shot these videos in one take because I don't have a lot of time for editing. But I'm not a professional orator and I don't like to see a person read a script (it kills the emotion and can come off as false). So I need to figure something else out.

Just a tip for making vids, try not to dumb it down. You know, like repeating information in different words, using silly examples/comparisons. People that go on youtube and actively search out science vids are usually smarter than your average bear. I remember not liking science in school because of this. My teacher would be explaining things over N over in different ways to students who weren't listening, while I quietly sat at my desk and read. Result = Completed Gr 12 science & math at 14

I really wanted to watch your video but your choppiness in talking was too much.
