I was part of the focus group and study that was done for WOW chips, and as long as we ate the serving size, or double the serving size, we were OK. BUT At one point my brother almost ate an entire bag and experienced really bad stomach pain, and gastrointestinal troubles.

They made a reference to these chips in Family Guy. Peter demanded that they bring these chips back as compensation for a supposed sexual-harassment incident, but ended up having diarrhea so bad, it shot him up to the ceiling.

The CEO and other higher-ups in Frito Lay actually had stakes in Olestra. They knew well before the chips hit the shelves that the Olestra caused leaky gut syndrome, but they wanted their payout.

I make my own chips without fat.
First i cut them and throw them to boiling water for 3 minutes. Then i put them in the oven until they're crunchy. After that i add some salt and paprika.

They actually put a warning on the bag after the first year "may cause anal leakage". I remember a kid at school was passing it around the cafeteria and it was all anyone talked about for the next three days. "Lol anal leakage" was all you heard in every class for the following days.
