Even with the ability to search Maxx c, I think playing it at 2 would be wise. You still want to open it going second, you may want to search a second copy In duels longer than 3 turns, you may want to crossout your opponents Maxx c, there's a lot of reasons to still keep 2 in the deck

it's more of a generic insect deck using the new support rather than a beetrooper deck, 95% of the cards in it were already there before beetrooper dropped.

I personally prefer the pure insect version, seeing Adventure cards, Verte and DPE in that first board made my brain hurt lol i know it can "help" the deck a lot but it just feels so boring to just use it as yet another engine for generic boss monsters
