Firstly, thanks dudes! The guitars actually don't have much low end to them at all. It gives me more room to be the obnoxious prick that I am and mix the bass to be more upfront and aggressive. Just a simple highpass somewhere between 90-120Hz to tidy the guitars up. Especially when music is this busy, it helps to really pay a lot of attention to the mix's low end real estate and filter everything in that area. The bass is the 1 take sent through 4 different processing routes consisting of 3 different pod farm settings and my pride and joy, the Darkglass B7K. My biggest tip for that sound is use fingers and dig in like your life depends on it.

I picked up the guitar when I was 14, traded up to an electric guitar at 18. College and stuff came a few years later so I barely had any time to play. Probably once in 4 months or so. College and stuff being done now, I thought of picking up my guitar again and searched through Youtube to find some inspiration.A change of course.
