Jesus did go down into Hell and preached to spirits; however, unfortunately, Joyce Meyer has added to the Word of God. Jesus was not the first man to be born again. He was God incarnate. It is very sad that Joyce and other prosperity preachers have erred and/or added/taken away from the Word of God. This is very disappointing and disturbing, but it is a fulfillment of prophecy, and we are seeing it. I pray that people will wake up, including those who have added to scripture or erred.

This could have been early on in her ministry when she was just starting out and "still smoking ciggs" and made mistakes on theology. I assume at this moment (2021) she has recognized the huge mistake she made in saying that Jesus was trampled. The bible clearly depicts a different scenario taking place when Jesus died and visited hell. But this teaches us that we ALL need to individually read our bibles and ask the Holy Spirit of God (who wrote the bible) to teach us its meaning and truth. Without us adding to or taking away from it.

I find it interesting that all these videos calling her out are using clips from 20+ years ago. This clip is probably 30-35 years old. She has said many times that she said and believed things in the past that she was wrong about but of course no one shows those clips.
