“We’re capturing the moment in time” Rattle and Hum will long be forgotten but not by U2 fans, an album reaching all four corners of this world !!!

This is pure poetry in motion and exquisite sound!! I would say they mastered this song! Each of the four does their part PERFECTLY. Magic chemistry together. (The audience is pretty good, too!)

Best cover of this song.
Bono in his prime. Clayton and Mullen gave this version a touch of punk rock in my opinion. The Edge, perfect tone, as always.

Absolutely spectacular, flawless, magnificent, undeniably powerful performance. On a side note, and I haven't been able to verify this, in 1968, Pete Townsend of The Who, basking in their recent success, went up to Paul McCartney of The Beatles somewhete and said something along the lines of, "Hey McCartney, you know WE'VE got the hardest, loudest rock n' roll band in the business!" Paul McCartney looked at him and said, "We'll see about that, Townsend." Later The Beatles came up with the immortal anthem song, "Helter Skelter". The rest is history, with all due respect to The Who.

What a beautiful gesture from U2.The original had nothing to do with the apcalyptic ramblings of Charles Manson.Paul had heard that the Who had recorded the loudest song up-to-date and the lyrics are really innocently enough about a toddler going up and down a slide. So it was recorded as a friendly rivalry with the Who.

My college girlfriend and I saw the Joshua Tree tour from around the 10th row. Great show! Helped that she worked at a ticket master location and always got us great seats. She was able to grab first row seats to see Rush as well. What a great chick!

Was a fan of u2 when I went to see Rattle and hum at the abc cinema in leeds but this one blew me away. Shivers up the spine moment at 28 seconds all those years ago and it just happened again when I hadn't watched it for goodness knows how long.
