The Marching Maroon and White of Alabama A&M University is back and making waves for the 2024 fall season! After being called out by ESPN’s Band of the Year, North Carolina A&T, the AAMU band has been laser-focused—not only on outdoing their incredible performance from the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where they led the way, but also on showing the Aggies of NCAT and the entire SWAC that they mean business! 🔥

It’s wasn’t that popular until the Battle for Birmingham when the vocals went viral 😂 but we had played it a couple years before.

I didn't even know it was our favorite song lol. I like the Maxwell and Kim song and bring back rep your city!

I actually think the band was bigger last year. I just wish we would recruit more trumpets, baritone, tones, and mellows. We would have a more balanced and aggressive sound.

AAMU sounds good and they have grown quite a bit. The Dancing Divas are CLEAN and look like they’ve been to a Stingette camp every day this summer. They got the Stingette style down packed and I’m getting no Dancing Doll from them now. The gloves feel redundant now they don’t need them anymore in order for you to see their moves. I like what I hear from their lower brass but the trombones do not sound ready for Magic City Classic just yet, they got lots of work to do! AAMU flags always been good.
