Gregor keeps showing how Studio One 5 is hands down the best DAW on the market. We just need more of the community to start showing the power of Studio One in real world situations being utilized.

This is nice... thank you! All this time what I was doing was everytime I needed to load something similar, I (saved as) from a previous project and saved a new title with the same data but then changed or tweaked it from there on forward.

Shifted from logic to studioone recently...for 6 years, cubase them almost 10 years logic and now studioone, amazing work flow... following your tutorials regularly and Yes you are amazing...
Dear Gregor I've almost found every thing what I used in logic and ofcourse lots more...but what I missed a most the selection of tracks from play head(cursor) onwards... A short cut, for lengthy tracks it was very easy to either copy or make space in between ...thanks to you if you can come up with some solution...

I have to agree with others Studio One is a brilliant and powerful DAW. I look forward to the day it devours the duo Logic into ProTools and becomes the industry standard. Once again nice work Gregor.

I have been importing song data and love your tip using the file menu! You are the guy who's knowledge of S1 converted me from Reason. (Which I had been using for 5 years) Also, S1 for some reason ( no pun intended) sounds better than Reason. Reason always sounded grainy and harsh to me but S1 sounds silky.

Does anyone know if it's possible to drag n' drop parts directly from Bitwig Studio into Studio One (bounced clips), the way you can from Ableton Live?

Gregor, man Thanks for everything. Studio one is a great daw and I’ve learned a lot from you. One thing that would be really cool is if you could steal all of FL studio commands like @presonousaudio did with protools...Coming from protools, I can honestly say that most of the things I used to do in protools can be done in Studio one and better...however when it comes to making beats, it would really cool to steal all of fl studio commands and also please bring their way of making 808 glides in studio one, I’ve seen ways to do it but fl studio sounds smoother faster and more musical...I see you have the pattern like fl but can you edit different notes of your pattern ( click on an instruments and change the piano roll notes and go right back to patterns ) not sure if that can be done, correct me if I’m wrong...and also when it comes to the look of the piano roll fl studio got you there...their piano roll is super nice in 4K with rounded notes and you can even change the color of your piano roll background...like I said copy the way fl does their piano roll ( literally all commands from maintaining the right click to erase notes, to how you can create a long note and when you click again, you get another long note ) if you were to do that and you combine how smart studio one is...you’ll be the ultimate daw...but mixing and mastering wise I’m impressed so far honestly.

Is this Drag & Drop approach any different to Import Song Data?
