I can't believe there are container stores. The plan is to first make you buy tons of stuff you don't need, then sell you lots of containers to put it all in. It's essential to stop buying things.

Most of the highly decanted and organized pantries on social media, have lot of expensive, processed and unhealthy snacks. Part of our decluttering, we stopped buying empty calorie foods/snacks. Not only does it save money but also space in the pantry/cupboards. Great list!

Cas from clutterbug has a great quiz to determine your organizing style. It’s really helpful for deciding what organizers will work for you and what won’t

❤ I love hooks too. When I have them up I always find new uses for them. Thank you for all your great ideas. 🎉

I totally agree! Some decanting fits my life style but a lot of decanting just didn't work for us.
Love you content!

❤❤❤ Thank you for suggesting Lazy Susan’s. I recently bought and put a Lazy Susan in my pantry for baking items, so much better.

♥ I don't decant anything except for rice and your typical salt and pepper shakers. I'm the type of person who actually could take the time to set it up and maintain the upkeep but I'd rather not. I just don't find it an efficient use of my time or necessary when these items are stored behind closed doors. Plus, there are often leftovers that don't fit in the containers and then you have to have a secondary location to store the packages. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks Becky! Labels really help. If you don’t want to fork out on a label machine, you can just buy label sticker sheets and write. I always keep a few sheets in the kitchen. Really helpful with spices. Especially bcs I buy them loose and use empty tomato paste/jam jars as containers.

This video was so helpful!! I am going to try your suggestion for the hooks in the closet! I also like the idea of the command hooks! Thanks so much!!

I would recommend you get an over the door shoe organizer for your hall closet! It could replace all those bins and clear out that floor space or could be used for something else

I got tired of losing stuff. I wouldnt put stuff away in the same spot even with 30 baskets. 😊 I bought Tile Trackers for my remote, keys, purse, even the cat 😂

I keep all my medicine in one upper cupboard in my kitchen, a bit far from the stove. I remember I found really nice inexpensive plastic containers (they are rectangular shape and tall) that you can easily stack. So the lower section of this cupboard perfectly holds a total of 4 such containers (2 on top of 2), there’s almost no space left. It’s always easy to go through those, find what I need and put them back 😊
As for the makeup, I have one of each product and only the bare minimum, they all fit in one plastic container, I also put my blush brush and pencil-looking products in a small ikea container (I think it’s made of metal, they were super popular once). There’s another small transparent plastic container for lipsticks. But I hardly use it bcs I have gotten rid of so much stuff I didn’t actually use, leaving basically 2-3 pieces.
